When Chuck Winter’s computer crashed in the middle of a lockdown in 2020, all of the artist’s new music vanished into thin air. Luckily, back then he was still making music in English — luckily, it was still indie — and luckily, that fateful night he decided to completely rethink everything and start NNDW with German lyrics. Behind the closed doors of a pandemic, a new project began to take shape and finally saw the light of day in 2022 with the debut EP Geist. Tours across German-speaking countries followed — both solo and alongside bands like Mola, Die Sauna, and Das Kitsch. Now, Chuck Winter is collaborating with Vienna-based duo Planquadrat and releasing two new singles that bring together the DJ/producer team and the NNDW artist in perfect symbiosis.
