A lifelong music enthusiast and activist, Fred, aka Back From The Wave, grew up immersed in the sounds of acid house, Detroit techno, house music, French touch, and new wave, inspired by bands such as Depeche Mode and New Order. After discovering synthesizers in the late 1990s, he began producing his own music and went on to release projects under various aliases on respected French and international labels.

Since 2019, Back From The Wave has developed a distinctive sound blending electro, EBM, new beat, indie dance, and Italo influences. His productions and remixes have attracted support from artists including DJ Hell, Jennifer Cardini, The Hacker, Alessandro Adriani, Kendal, Belaria, Melanie Havens, and Andi.

Alongside his studio work, he performs regularly at renowned venues such as Cabaret Sauvage, Terminal, Bikini, Rockstore, and Rachdingue. With energetic, dancefloor driven sets and a growing international presence, Back From The Wave continues to establish himself as a standout name on the contemporary electronic scene.
